Service station gets biodiesel help

FOWLERVILLE - Randy's Service Station Inc. will add a B20-blend biodiesel pump with the help of a $9,225 grant to increase availability of bio-based fuels, according to the Department of Labor and Economic Growth Energy Office. The station, 8030 Mason Road, sells 2.5 million gallons of fuel annually and delivers biodiesel in bulk. The grant, paid for with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy, was one of six announced Thursday as part of the state program to help service stations add ethanol and biodiesel pumps.
